In January 2018, Greenstar was contacted by a landlord in Bournemouth as his tenants had reported an issue with their boiler.

The team quickly visited the home and found multiple faults with the boiler due to its old age. 

Our experts recommended that a new boiler was needed to provide reliable hot water and heating for future tenants. At the time our client stated that they just needed the boiler temporarily fixed, as a new boiler was not a priority in regards to the other building work that was needed for the property. Keeping this in mind we repaired the boiler with a new heat exchanger, PRV and thermocouple as it would temporarily fix the boiler issues until the client decided to get a new boiler. 

Eight months later, we returned to the property as the client contacted us to go ahead with the boiler replacement. Once the property’s scaffolding was safely erected our team carried out the boiler installation, and we advised that the Ferroli Modena 27c boiler was ideal for the client as it’s reliable, budget-friendly and will last many years for future tenants. We supplied and fitted the boiler along with a Salus RT510RF programmable thermostat, magnetic system filter and inline scale reducer.
